Ultra Zoom vs. MLS photo viewers
Every MLS-powered listing platform has its own photo viewer — Bright MLS, Stellar MLS, CRMLS, MRED, MLSListings, plus the consumer overlays on Realtor.com, Zillow, Redfin, and Compass. They’re fine when you want to look at one home. They’re miserable when you’re scanning twenty listings at 10pm trying to decide which to tour. Ultra Zoom adds full-resolution hover preview to all of them. See the compatibility matrix.
Why agents and shoppers install it
- Full-resolution source, not the thumbnail. Listing pages serve compressed previews. Ultra Zoom hits the gallery image directly, so you see flooring transitions, fixture finishes, and condition the way the listing photographer captured them.
- Works on every major MLS platform. Bright, Stellar, CRMLS, MRED, MLSListings — plus Realtor.com, Zillow, Redfin, Compass and most agent IDX sites.
- Gallery navigation without opening the modal. Hover, then arrow-key through the gallery in place. Read the workflow guide.
- Zero telemetry. Listing browsing is competitive intel. Nothing leaves your browser.
Confirmed compatible platforms
- National portals: Realtor.com, Zillow, Redfin, Trulia, Homes.com, Compass, Movoto.
- Regional MLS: Bright MLS (Mid-Atlantic), Stellar MLS (Florida), CRMLS (California), MRED (Chicago), MLSListings (Bay Area), NWMLS (Pacific Northwest), HAR (Houston), Georgia MLS.
- Agent / brokerage IDX: most Sierra Interactive, Real Geeks, BoomTown, kvCORE, Placester and Wix-based agent sites work via the standard listing-photo plugin.
If your MLS isn’t listed, generic hover-zoom still shows the largest photo the page provides — or drop us a note and we’ll look at a plugin.
