Hover-to-zoom is one of those features that feels deceptively simple until you start using it every day. Here are a few shortcuts we’ve been leaning on internally.

Scroll to zoom further. Once an image pops up, scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out. It’s perfect for inspecting product photos on Amazon or Etsy.

Arrow keys for galleries. On Reddit, Instagram, and Pinterest, use the left and right arrow keys to walk through a gallery without dismissing the overlay.

Per-site toggle. If a website already has its own lightbox you like, click the Ultra Zoom toolbar icon and flip the site-specific switch. Ultra Zoom will stay out of the way there and keep working everywhere else.
